MP3 Audiobook Player App Reviews

No swipe support or buttons to skip forward or back. No way to play files from cloud services. No way to email the developer.

When this app actually works, it does so rather well. There are two problems however. The first is that I have paid to remove the duration limit, but will still get prompts to buy it when a book hits 12 hours. Ill have to click restore 5-10 times for it to actually work. The worst problem is the fact that the app will get to the point where I cant even use it. The splash screen will pop up but the app wont fully load. Ive tried everything I can think of, and done research, to fix the problem: re-boot phone, close all programs, etc. When this happens the only way to fix it is to uninstall (which involves uninstalling all of my books) and reinstalling. This has happened 3 times in the last week. I just want to listen to my stories! Im on a 4s with the latest version of iOS btw. Hope this app works for other people, because its pretty good when it does.

Tried many others that were just plain broken. This app works great!

Now the ads keep coming back never recognizes I paid keeps asking to restore over and over. Removed the app loosing my books still doesnt remove ads and says I hit a 12 hour limit. Not worth it.

This app has been my go to for my non-Audible audiobooks. Does not lose my place and a very easy to use web interface for uploading books (fantastic as a zip file).

I wanted an app to listen to a bunch of lectures I had in MP3 format, and this works well for that. It keeps track of my location well, and I can keep these lectures out of my iTunes library. Transferring files to the program was easy. Im happy with this program.

This is a great app. I use it everyday to listen to my audiobook collections. This update has a glaring bug however: the go back 30 second button on the iPhone and Apple Watch actually go back 1 full minute, which is pretty frustrating. Please fix

Ive tried numerous apps for listening to audiobooks and not a single one compares. Its easy and quick to add the MP3 files; its easy to store multiple books and keep ones place in each one; its easy to delete the books once one is done. The speed adjustment is also great and makes me zip through books much faster. And the purchased upgrades are totally worth it. I wouldnt use any other app for my audiobooks!

I spend a lot of time listening to audiobooks that Ive downloaded, this program makes it so easy to keep your place. 10/10

It seems over the past couple years the music app and iTunes has lost some of the functions and features that once made it good. I now am moving all my audio books out of iTunes library to merge with this app. Much better alternative for audio books than trying to use apples music app.

I use this a lot on graduate school. It just works.

Received update April 7, 2016. Seek speed now syncs perfectly with Apple Watch. Moving this app now to 4 star. Three more updates would move it to 5 star. First, when using the rewind/seek feature, if you get back to the beginning of the track, it should stay in the track and begin playing. Currently, it jumps back to the beginning if the PREVIOUSLY track. This gives rise to a second request to add a separate control to jump tracks with Apple Watch. The third request is to add volume control via Apple Watch Digital Crown. Look forward to updates. Agree with other reviewer. Apple Watch now rewinds several MINUTES (not seconds) and ignores settings from iPhone App with regard to setting rewind to 5 or 10 seconds. Doesnt allow controlling speed of rewind button on Apple Watch. If you set App settings on phone to 5 or 10 seconds, it works on iPhone, but rewind setting on watch ignores the setting change. Also, it could allow use on Digital Crown on Watch for volume, but it does not use Digital Crown at all. Very limited Apple Watch use.

I love this app! It was exactly what I was looking for. Great for listening to lectures or anything else you have a large amount of audio files for.
