MP3 Audiobook Player App Reviews

App is good while last update crushes it.

I have tried many apps that would simply play an MP3 audiobook and havent found one easier to operate than this one. Missing are to cool gadgets Audible has, like milestone ranks, time spent listening a day/week/month, or social media integration, but when it comes to simply transferring an audiobook from my computer to iPhone and then playing it back, this apps won me over.

Have an issue during playing in case I push pause and then play again, on my headphones while the screen is locked.

Great app, simple and efficient. Perfect for listening to audio books. Importing my MP3 was easy and now I use it everyday. Ive tried many similar apps before and I think this is the best one

I have used the iTunes music app, the podcast app and half a dozen free players, and this one works the most reliably for audiobooks. Totally worth $1.99!

Works beautifully. Perfect alternative to Apples newly broken audiobook player. Love that you can set it to automatically continue the current book when you launch the app. Well done!

Finally, the audiobooks app that works! You guys have to pay apple big time for screwing iOS built-in audiobooks player!

Functionally this app is fine. Its much more reliable than iBooks. But the UI doesnt even compare to Bookmobiles app. I wanted to use this app because Bookmobile has an ugly icon, and the UI doesnt look that much better. But as far as functionality and ease of use, that app is far superior to this one.

This is the answer to an audio book lovers dream for anyone using an iPhone or iPad. It is uber easy to load books and offers all the benefits of Overdrive without the limitations.

Ive used the default Music app in iOS and others, but this app blows them away! You can copy MP3 files to your iOS device from anyones iTunes. You just drag and drop the folder containing the mp3s in Windows and it is available immediately.

Great concept. And works great,when it doesnt crash. It crashes every time I start the app and wont open for awhile if at all. PLEASE FIX.

I tried this app when Apple botched up the switch of audiobooks from iTunes to iBooks in IOS 8.4. This app was recommended by some users on the Apple forum regarding the iBooks problems, so I tried it. It is definitely better than iBooks since it does remember where you stopped listening. It does have one annoying problem however. The books I listen to are ripped from CDs borrowed from my local library. I use Audiobook Builder to create an audiobook file. Using this process each track on the CD is converted into a chapter in the audiobook file. Every time MP3 Audiobook Player starts a new track or chapter it plays a few words, pauses a second and then repeats the same few words. This destroys the smooth flow of the book especially with books formatted with 99 tracks to a CD. I found this so annoying I stopped using the app. Users on he Apple forum also recommended the Audible app. I tried that and it works fine. It plays any audiobook on my iPhone, not just those purchased from Audible.

This is the audiobook player for iPhone and iPad, easy to use and thats what it supposed to play the audiobooks. Support the developer purchased a full copy it is worth every penny

****update The app was updated and now it doesnt even open up. Restarted, reinstalled,forcequit. --old review Another app that is getting taken over by social media. After every book it pops up with a auto tweet or Facebook post..asking you to recommend the app. Please remove that. Look into make this a more fictional easy app.

This is a great audio book player! I love it!

Easy to upload files. Totally worth $3 to upgrade

Just downloaded this and am using it to get around the annoying iTunes problem of audiobooks not showing up in iTunes once i try and manually add them. A lifesaver for my 1.5 hour daily commute. Hoping not to encounter technical issues in the weeks to come. So far so good.
